Short Film: Once a Storm
Olivia Black travels home from school when a severe storm rolls in unexpectedly and forces her to pull over at a small diner/truck stop. Within moments of arriving inside with her sole companion, Otto the fish, Olivia is made aware that all the roads have been closed due to a blizzard and the diner owner dispels any notion of staying at the diner by announcing, "There is no sleeping in the diner." Fearful of freezing to death in her car, Olivia seeks a safe place to spend the night. The few options that are available however, aren't your Ritz Carlton choices.
Once a Storm follows Olivia Black through a pivotal moment in her life. She must take that rite of passage into adulthood and be responsible for herself as well as her fish Otto. The life passage of a well thought out decision.
